Located in Weston, MA

Our client, a senior living community in Weston, MA, is looking for an experienced Cook to join their culinary team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled cook who enjoys preparing high-quality, healthy meals and working with older adults in a collaborative environment.

Pay: $23.00–$30.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, including weekends
Weekend Differential: Additional $5.00 per hour

Direct Hire position w/full benefits

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve flavorful, nutritious meals for residents and staff
• Follow established food preparation, handling, and sanitation procedures
• Prepare meals that accommodate therapeutic and dietary needs
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining service areas
• Adjust recipes and menus based on feedback from residents and staff
• Work closely with the culinary team to develop healthy and appealing menu options
• Help maintain the high standards of a five-star senior living community

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional cooking experience
• Strong culinary and food preparation skills
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and ability to modify recipes as needed
• ServSafe Certification required
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
• Calm, professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills
• Previous experience in a senior living or healthcare setting preferred
