Harvest Laborer

 

$20/hr day shift 7am – 7pm

Location Northwood ND

 

Job Description 

• Responsible for assisting with truck loading/unloading and storage operations.
• Assist management team with operational activities associated with the storage and moving of seed.
• Previous experience with skid steer loader and/or pay loader.
• Perform and follow all safety procedures outlined in company written procedures.
• Work cooperatively with management team and co-workers.
• Any other duties assigned by Supervisor.

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Commitment goals of achieving a zero injury culture, understand and follow company procedures.
• Ability to learn and understand necessary quality controls and procedures.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to plan, organize and perform with limited supervision.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Exhibit prompt and regular attendance.
• Able to meet physical requirements of the position, including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces, from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.) lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Willing to work shift with variable start time, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Willing and able to work overtime as needed during seed and harvest seasons. Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting when needed. Exhibit a professional image at all times, maintain a positive and respectful attitude
