We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our manufacturing team. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using various welding techniques and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, understands welding specifications and safety procedures, and can consistently produce high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Perform MIG, TIG, stick, or other welding processes as required.
• Weld, fabricate, and assemble metal components according to specifications.
• Set up and operate welding machines, torches, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, appearance, and dimensional accuracy.
• Measure and verify parts using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and positioning metal components.
• Identify and correct welding defects or fabrication issues.
• Maintain welding equipment and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow company quality standards, production requirements, and safety procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe work environment.
• Complete production paperwork and communicate issues to supervisors or team members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and welding drawings.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to use basic measuring and hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attendance and dependability.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and work in various positions for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Ability to work around heat, sparks, noise, dust, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to wear required PPE, including welding helmet, gloves, protective clothing, and safety footwear.

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding certification or technical training.
• Experience with MIG, TIG, FCAW, or stick welding.
• Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.
• Previous experience with production welding and fabrication.
• Familiarity with quality-control procedures and welding inspection requirements.
