Job description:

We are seeking experienced Electro- Mechanical Assemblers for an exciting opportunity with one of our clients in Concord, CA. This is a full-time, on-site position with a Monday- Friday schedule.

Position Summary

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler I/II is responsible for the assembly, calibration, and diagnostic testing of Quartz MEMS sensor and IMU assemblies. The position performs precision assembly work using small hand tools and microscopes and follows established work instructions and production processes.

Key Responsibilities

Work under close supervision and follow established procedures and standardized work instructions.

Update manual and computerized status reports and production logs as required.

Perform precision assembly tasks using tools such as jeweler's screwdrivers, tweezers, cutters, and soldering irons.

Perform assembly tasks under a microscope.

Apply epoxies, masking, and coatings to products.

Prepare fragile components for assembly.

Operate cure ovens and other production equipment.

Perform basic calibration and diagnostic testing using equipment such as QRS11 calibration rate tables, plasma cleaners, and ASIC testers.

Flex between positions within the assembly line based on training and production requirements.

Understand and follow Kanban requirements and basic Lean manufacturing principles, including standardized work instructions.

Perform cross-checks and production verification activities; this position does not include formal inspection responsibilities.

Develop proficiency in approximately 25–50% of the tasks required on the primary product line, depending on experience and demonstrated capability.

More experienced assemblers may rotate between 2–3 positions within the assembly line and may be required to work on more than one product line.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow all company, safety, quality, and production procedures.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Electro-Mechanical Assembler I

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0–1 year of experience with soldering, precision assembly, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Good verbal communication and reading skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small and fragile components.

Electro-Mechanical Assembler II

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience with soldering, precision assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Good verbal communication and reading skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform precision assembly tasks and follow detailed work instructions.
  • Ability to work across multiple positions and, when trained, multiple product lines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with small and fragile components.
