Salary: $30.00 - $45.00 DOE

Express Employment is seeking an experienced and reliable HVAC Service Technician for a great local reputable company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC systems. This is a field-based role that requires excellent technical skills and a customer-first attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and related equipment

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs

  • Replace or repair worn or defective parts and components

  • Maintain accurate service records and complete job tickets electronically

  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding service issues and solutions

  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and environmental regulations

  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who combines technical ability with strong customer-service skills.

Required or Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of relevant HVAC field experience or equivalent trade school training.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot residential HVAC equipment and mechanical issues.
  • Understanding of airflow, ductwork, system performance, and basic indoor air quality principles.
  • Ability to identify potential system inefficiencies and communicate findings to customers.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to travel to varying job sites throughout Northern Rural California.
  • Professional, dependable, and customer-focused approach.
  • Positive and coachable attitude.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Work in outdoor and indoor environments, including tight spaces and elevated areas
