Express Employment Professionals is seeking 16 experienced, professional servers for a high-end plated catering event. Candidates must have previous experience providing plated meal service at weddings, banquets, upscale restaurants, galas, corporate events, or other formal catered functions.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide polished and professional plated meal service
• Safely carry and serve approximately five to six plates at one time
• Serve and clear tables efficiently while following proper service etiquette
• Maintain awareness of assigned tables and guest needs
• Follow the banquet captain’s instructions and event timeline
• Properly handle dinnerware, glassware, flatware, and serving trays
• Refill beverages and assist guests in a courteous manner
• Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable service area
• Assist with event setup, table preparation, breakdown, and cleanup as needed
• Work quickly and calmly in a fast-paced, high-end event environment

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous upscale restaurant, banquet, wedding, or formal catering experience
• Demonstrated ability to safely carry five to six plates or a fully loaded serving tray
• Knowledge of proper plated-service procedures and dining etiquette
• Professional appearance, attitude, and communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and carry items for an extended period
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work as part of a coordinated service team
• Strong attention to detail and guest-service skills
• Dependable transportation and punctual attendance
• Willingness to wear the required professional serving attire
• Availability for the entire event and any required pre-event instructions
