Outside Sales Representative
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a local client seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join their growing team in the Kalispell/Whitefish area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently, meeting new people, and building strong customer relationships while earning a competitive base wage plus commission.
Pay & Schedule
- $26.00/hour + Commission
- Full-time position
- Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday (may transition to Thursday through Sunday)
Position Summary
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business through direct customer engagement and door-to-door sales efforts. This role is ideal for a self-starter who is driven by results and passionate about helping customers find the right solutions for their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through prospecting and sales activities
- Acquire new residential customers through door-to-door outreach
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process
- Educate customers on available products and services
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and business development teams
- Track sales activities and maintain accurate records for reporting purposes
- Participate in community events, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities
- Attend sales meetings and training sessions
- Complete all required sales documentation and administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Previous sales experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong desire to learn, grow, and succeed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish is a plus
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle with current insurance
- Acceptable driving record
Working Conditions
- Approximately 90% of work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Frequent walking and door-to-door engagement
- Minimal office time
- Territory includes the Kalispell and Whitefish areas
