Location: Waterloo, IA
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals in Waterloo is seeking a Utility Worker to join a local manufacturing team. This position supports production operations by performing general labor tasks, assisting multiple departments, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility. The ideal candidate will be dependable, hardworking, and willing to assist wherever needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor duties throughout the facility
• Assist production teams with daily operations
• Support workflow across multiple departments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in production areas
• Move materials and supplies as needed
• Follow safety procedures and work instructions
• Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing or general labor experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift and carry materials as needed
• Frequent bending, walking, and repetitive movements
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment
