$23.00–$25.00 an hour | Full-time | Guelph, ON | Straight Midnight Shift

Express Employment Professionals Guelph is currently recruiting for an experienced Order Picker / Material Handler for a busy manufacturing environment.

THIS IS A STRAIGHT MIDNIGHT SHIFT – 11:00 PM TO 7:00 AM.
This is a key requirement of the position. The successful candidate must be comfortable working a consistent overnight schedule.

Job Details

• Schedule: 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Job Type: Full-time
• Overtime required as truck schedules demand
• Voluntary weekend overtime may be available

What You'll Do

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently throughout the facility
• Pick orders accurately and build skids for shipment
• Feed raw materials to production lines and remove finished materials
• Pre-plan materials needed for the morning shift
• Load and unload trucks
• Organize inventory in racks and designated warehouse areas
• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
• Receive, label and organize incoming materials
• Complete inventory and material movements within the ERP system
• Maintain general housekeeping throughout the warehouse and production areas
• Assist with production when required
• Take initiative and keep busy without constant supervision

What We're Looking For

• Valid forklift license/certification and strong forklift driving experience
• Previous warehouse/material handling experience
• 5+ years of forklift experience preferred
• Manufacturing or production experience is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work overtime when required
