We are seeking a dedicated Heavy General Labour / Line Production Worker to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the assembly and production processes within our facility, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to operate basic hand tools. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while contributing to the creation of durable products.

Rotational Shifts: Days 7am - 3pm, Afternoon 3pm - 11pm, Nights 11pm - 7am (must be flexible to work all shifts)

Pay rate: $17.6.00/hr -$20.00/hr, plus 4% vacation pay

Responsibilities:

• Support line production by feeding materials, sorting parts, and ensuring smooth workflow
• picking, packing and sorting products as needed
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues and report maintenance needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment
• Support inventory management by stocking raw materials and organizing finished products for shipment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and quality standards
• Assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs when necessary

Experience:

• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with assembly processes is highly desirable
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical equipment
• Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and safety standards in an industrial setting
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods and lift, move, and stack materials (up to 50 lbs. regularly)
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to tasks
• Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing
