The Position

This is a hands-on technical leadership position, not a desk-only management role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial refrigeration/HVAC-R background along with working knowledge of commercial ice machines and water filtration systems.

  • Serve as a technical resource for commercial ice machines, refrigeration systems, and water filtration equipment.

  • Assist technicians with advanced refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, and water-related diagnostics.

  • Help diagnose repeat or difficult service problems.

  • Review technical findings before unnecessary parts are replaced.

  • Support proper refrigeration practices, including system diagnostics, evacuation, charging, leak detection, and component replacement.

  • Understand how water quality, scale, sediment, filtration, and treatment affect commercial ice machine reliability and performance.

  • Oversee daily field service activity throughout the Atlanta market.

  • Monitor open service calls and ensure work orders move efficiently toward completion.

  • Help organize technician schedules, routes, and workloads.

  • Improve response times and reduce unnecessary return trips.

Preventive Maintenance & Water Filtration

  • Ensure preventive maintenance programs are completed according to established company standards.

  • Maintain high standards for ice machine cleaning, sanitization, and equipment condition.

  • Ensure water filters are properly selected, installed, documented, and replaced.

  • Identify scale, water-quality, capacity, pressure, and filtration issues that may contribute to equipment failure.

Customer Experience

  • Build strong relationships with commercial customers.

  • Professionally handle escalated customer concerns.

  • Communicate technical issues in language customers can understand.

  • Help customers make informed repair, replacement, filtration, and preventive-maintenance decisions.

  • Protect long-term customer relationships while balancing service quality and company profitability.

  • Review technician notes, photographs, checklists, and service documentation.

  • Ensure service reports accurately explain what was found, what was completed, and what remains to be addressed.

  • Maintain high standards for workmanship, cleanliness, and professionalism.

  • Monitor callbacks and repeat failures and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Promote safe driving, professional appearance, and proper care of company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
