Job Description
Express Employment Professionals in Richmond is seeking an Order Selector for one of its well-established clients in the Richmond area. This position supports warehouse operations by accurately preparing materials and merchandise for outgoing orders while helping maintain an efficient flow of inventory. The role contributes to timely order fulfillment and overall warehouse productivity.
Skills and Experience Requirements
• Previous order selecting experience• Experience operating a ride-on pallet jack• Experience operating a sit-down forklift• Experience operating a stand-up forklift• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment• Willingness to work significant overtime as needed• Ability to remain flexible regarding the daily end time
Job Responsibilities
• Select products and materials according to customer orders• Operate material-handling equipment to retrieve and transport products• Organize selected items for accurate order fulfillment• Verify products and quantities against order information• Move completed orders to designated areas for further processing• Maintain safe and organized work areas while completing daily assignments
