Batch Maker – 2nd Shift

We are hiring a dependable, detail-oriented Batch Maker for a manufacturing facility in the Triad area. This position is ideal for someone with machine operation experience who is comfortable following precise processes, weighing materials, and maintaining accurate production records.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM. Shift may occasionally extend to 11:30 PM.

Pay: $19.00/hour starting pay ($18.50 base + $0.50 shift differential). After 30 days, high-quality performance may qualify for an additional $1.00/hour increase to $20.00/hour.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and mix large batches of foam material blended with glue

• Accurately weigh ingredients according to production formulas

• Operate and calibrate scales and mixing/blending equipment

• Record ingredient weights and complete production documentation

• Use the correct materials and quantities for each batch

• Clean equipment between batches to prevent cross-contamination

• Perform routine equipment checks and cleaning

• Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

What We're Looking For

• At least 1 year of machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow exact processes

• Comfortable performing basic math, including ratios and percentages

• Ability to read and follow written instructions and production procedures

• Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to learn

• Ability to regularly lift and move 40+ pounds

• Squeeze/clamp forklift experience is a plus but not required

• Flexibility to cross-train or rotate into other roles when needed

Important Work Environment Information

This position works in a hot and humid manufacturing environment with dust and airborne particles. Employees also work around moving machinery. Masks, eye protection, and other required PPE are provided.

Candidates should be comfortable standing and walking throughout the shift and occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
