Cut Shop Material Handler

Location: Salem, OR

PAY: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM

 

 

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Material Handler for a growing Salem-area manufacturer. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and takes pride in handling materials carefully and accurately. The products in this environment require a high level of care and attention to detail to prevent damage and maintain quality standards.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely handle, move, and organize materials throughout the production process

• Load, unload, and transport materials between workstations

• Handle fragile materials and components with care to prevent damage

• Verify quantities, part numbers, and material specifications

• Organize inventory and maintain accurate material locations

• Prepare materials for production and shipment

• Inspect materials for quality and report discrepancies

• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory records

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe

• Follow all company quality and safety procedures

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or inventory experience preferred

• Exceptional attention to detail

• Ability to handle delicate and fragile materials with care

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to accurately follow written instructions and procedures

• Basic computer and documentation skills preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift
