CAD Drafter/Designer

Mon–Thu | 6:00 AM–4:30 PM | $25–$30/hr + OT

 

We’re looking for a CAD Drafter/Designer who enjoys problem-solving, creative thinking, and developing custom solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Design and draft custom solutions using CAD software
• Create work orders from architectural and structural drawings
• Read and create part drawings and large assemblies
• Perform field measurements and site verification
• Review plans and identify design/constructability issues
• Coordinate with customers, engineers, architects, project managers, and shop teams
• Create material take-offs and assist with estimating
• Contribute to process improvement and R&D projects

What we’re looking for:

• Associate degree in Drafting/CAD Technology or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of CAD drafting experience; SolidWorks preferred
• Experience with field measurements and site take-offs
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and assemblies
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in metal fabrication or construction is a plus
