Accountant

Located in Monrovia, CA

Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant for a client in Monrovia. The ideal candidate will have hands-on accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and solid knowledge of QuickBooks Online.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Rate: $25.00–$27.00 per hour DOE

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
• Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and deposits
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure transactions are accurately recorded
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on accounts receivable
• Track expenses and assist with account analysis
• Maintain organized accounting records and documentation
• Provide support with additional accounting and administrative functions as needed

Qualifications

• Previous accounting experience required
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
• Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and general accounting functions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Manufacturing or small-to-mid-sized business experience is a plus
