Forklift / Warehouse

Located in Pharr, TX

Express Employment is hiring for Forklift Drivers for a warehouse in South Pharr paying $13/hr!

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm (must be available for overtime)

Duties/Responsibilities/Requirements:
Perform basic warehouse functions to include order picking, shipping & receiving and operate small air and electrical powered tools and equipment.
• Sales order picking per master schedule
• Assembling and validating components per sales orders
• Inspect material to be in good shipping conditions.
• Bands together wooden crates with metal banding
• Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.
• Operates lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, reports discrepancies to Supervisor.
• Perform housekeeping duties of work area.
• Follows workplace operating and environmental, health and safety procedures and guidelines.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Ability to read and follow written instructions and procedures with close supervision Knowledge of various manual/air/electrical operated tools and jigs including wrenches, crimp tools.
• Sitting and/or standing at work station usually for most of work day; may sometimes perform repetitive action tasks.
