Maintenance Technician - Apartment Turns
Location: Richmond, KY
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring a Maintenance Technician for a temporary assignment at an apartment community in Richmond, Kentucky. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in preparing apartments for new residents.
The ideal candidate will assist with apartment turnovers, perform basic maintenance tasks, and help ensure units are move-in ready. Candidates should be dependable, motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete apartment turn preparations between resident move-outs and move-ins
- Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks as assigned
- Touch up paint and assist with minor drywall repairs
- Replace light bulbs, fixtures, and basic hardware
- Assist with cleaning and preparing vacant units
- Remove trash, debris, and unwanted materials from apartments
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns to management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all site safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, apartment turnover, or general labor experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
