Position Overview

We are seeking 2 highly motivated and mechanically inclined individuals for a 2-day assignment assisting our maintenance team with the tear-down, disassembly, assembly, and reassembly of manufacturing equipment.

The ideal candidates will have a strong construction, mechanical, maintenance, machine shop, or manufacturing background and be comfortable working with a wide variety of hand and power tools. Candidates must be physically capable, dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work in a hands-on industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the maintenance team with tearing down and disassembling manufacturing equipment.
• Assist with reassembly and installation of equipment and components.
• Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Use mechanical tools and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Help move, position, and handle equipment and components as needed.
• Follow instructions from maintenance personnel and supervisors.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to complete the project within the 2-day assignment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and workplace requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Construction, machine shop, maintenance, manufacturing, or similar experience preferred.
• Experience using a wide variety of hand and power tools.
• Ability to understand and follow mechanical instructions.
• Ability to safely perform physically demanding work.
• Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment.
• Dependable, punctual, and motivated.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to get the job done.
• Must be able to work both independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a strong, motivated, mechanically inclined individual who is comfortable working with tools and equipment and is not afraid of hands-on work. Construction or machine shop experience is highly desirable.
