Construction Clean Up & Janitorial Worker

Location: TSMC Microchip Plant Site
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Shift: Morning Shift (Start time between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM)

Position Overview

We are currently hiring reliable and hardworking Construction Clean Up & Janitorial Workers to support operations at the TSMC Microchip Plant construction site. In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by performing construction cleanup, janitorial services, and general housekeeping duties throughout the facility and construction areas.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, take pride in maintaining clean spaces, and are committed to following safety procedures in a high-security environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Safety & Site Compliance

• Follow all TSMC, company, and OSHA safety regulations.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Identify and report safety hazards, security concerns, damaged equipment, or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain site security by following badge access procedures and security protocols.
• No cellphone use, earbuds, or personal music devices while on the job.
• Work safely around construction equipment, tools, and active work zones.

Construction Cleanup & Housekeeping

• Remove construction debris, trash, packaging materials, and other waste from work areas.
• Maintain clean and organized walkways, workspaces, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces throughout the facility.
• Assist with site organization and housekeeping to ensure a safe work environment.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners as needed.
• Clean and maintain break rooms, hallways, stairwells, entrances, and other common areas.

Restroom & Facility Cleaning

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, fixtures, and floors.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces to promote a healthy work environment.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Use only approved cleaning products and ensure all chemical containers are properly labeled.

Teamwork & Professionalism

• Arrive on time and prepared for each shift.
• Maintain equipment and cleaning supplies throughout the workday.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding supply needs or site concerns.
• Provide professional and courteous interaction with employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, construction cleanup, or labor experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to work around active construction operations and equipment.
