Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
  • Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and steering systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and air systems.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical problems.
  • Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and other scheduled maintenance.
  • Inspect vehicles and equipment for safety and operational issues.
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records.
  • Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow company safety procedures and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

  • Previous diesel mechanic or heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and mechanical systems.
  • Experience using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read service manuals and technical documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
  • CDL or applicable certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
