Security Systems Technician

We are looking for a skilled and dependable Security Systems Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic security systems at residential and commercial locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, and maintain security systems.
• Install and service cameras, access-control systems, alarms, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, wiring, network, and equipment issues.
• Run and terminate low-voltage cable.
• Read wiring diagrams, floor plans, and technical documentation.
• Perform system inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Train customers on basic system operation when needed.
• Complete service reports and document work performed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
• Follow all safety procedures and applicable codes.

Qualifications

• Previous security, low-voltage, electrical, or telecommunications experience preferred.
• Knowledge of alarm, surveillance, access-control, and low-voltage systems.
• Basic computer and networking skills.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and travel to customer locations.
• Security licensing or certification preferred where required.
