Job Overview

A local contractor is seeking a skilled and versatile Handyman for a two-week project servicing various job sites within 20 miles of Metairie. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience across multiple trade skills and can work independently to complete ongoing site tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheetrock repairs, patching, and finishing work.

• Assist with carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, and installing trim work.

• Prepare surfaces and execute general interior/exterior painting duties.

• Handle general repair, installation, and maintenance tasks across various residential or commercial job sites.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in carpentry, sheetrock, trim, and painting.

• Drug screen (DT) and background check (BG) required.

• Must have basic hand tools relevant to trade skills.

• Reliable transportation to travel to assigned job sites within a 20-mile radius of Metairie.

• Ability to lift, stand, bend, and handle physical labor throughout the workday.
