Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Janitor/Custodian to join our team. The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility, including production areas, offices, break rooms, restrooms, and common spaces. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures, and helps maintain a professional and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, locker rooms, and office areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
• Clean windows, doors, walls, and other facility surfaces as needed.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness of production areas while following all safety guidelines.
• Clean spills and respond promptly to housekeeping needs.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with facility organization and general housekeeping projects.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply shortages to management.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and use cleaning chemicals properly.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 6AM-2:30PM

Preferred

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety practices.
• Experience operating floor scrubbers, buffers, or other industrial cleaning equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing environments.
