CNC Operator / CNC Machinist

Location: McAllen, TX

Pay: $21.00–$25.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time

Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced CNC Operator / CNC Machinist for a local manufacturing company in McAllen. The company manufactures specialized equipment used in oil & gas, geothermal, carbon capture, and direct lithium applications.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor CNC lathes and established CNC turning jobs
• Load and unload materials and perform routine tool and insert changes
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment
• Read blueprints, technical drawings, tolerances, and setup sheets
• Monitor tooling, machine performance, and product quality
• Identify and report machine or production issues
• Assist with machine setups and tooling changes as directed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety, PPE, and production procedures

Requirements:

• 2+ years of CNC machining or CNC operator experience
• CNC lathe or CNC turning experience
• Experience with Mazak/MAZATROL is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
• Knowledge of tooling, inserts, offsets, and basic machining processes
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
