1st Shift Material Handler

 

Our client, a growing manufacturing company in the Rockford area is seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving, organizing, receiving, and delivering materials throughout the facility to support daily production and warehouse operations. The shift is M-F 5AM-3:30PM with optional Saturday shifts from 5AM-10AM. The pay is $18+ based on experience. Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect and inventory raw material
• Load and unload trucks 
• Handling scrap material, contacting scrap companies for pick up of metals
• Keep press room supplied with material
• Keep plant area free from scrap items

Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift experience
• Previous Material Handling experience
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to read micrometers and calipers
