Salary: $16-$20

Responsibilities
Perform boundary, topographic, construction, and other land surveys
Operate and maintain surveying equipment, including GPS/RTK and total stations
Collect accurate field data, measurements, and notes
Perform construction staking and layout
Research deeds, plats, property records, and other survey documents
Prepare and review survey drawings, plats, and related documentation
Download, process, and manage field survey data
Work with engineering and design staff to support project requirements
Assist with establishing property boundaries and resolving field discrepancies
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Follow company safety procedures and surveying standards
Travel to various project sites throughout the Gulf Coast as needed

Qualifications
Previous experience in land surveying preferred
Knowledge of boundary, topographic, and construction surveying
Experience operating total stations, GPS/RTK equipment, and other survey instruments
Ability to read and interpret plats, construction plans, deeds, and survey documents
Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D or similar surveying/design software preferred
Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications
Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) certification
Experience with construction layout
Experience with GPS/RTK technology
Experience with drone/UAV surveying or aerial mapping
Experience in an engineering, surveying, or civil construction environment
