Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join a professional food service operation. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who is confident creating their own menus, managing food prep, and maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and presentation.
This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity, meaning strong performance, reliability, and attendance can lead to a permanent position with the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute original menus based on needs, volume, and ingredients
- Perform daily food preparation following food safety standards
- Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all meals
- Manage kitchen organization, cleanliness, and efficiency
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Work independently while meeting production timelines
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive professional chef experience (required)
- Demonstrated ability to develop menus independently
- Strong food prep, knife skills, and kitchen organization
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Clear background check required
