Burn Table Operator

Located in Jacksonville , FL

Immediate opening for a Burning Operator at a local Metal Fabrication Company

Willing to train applicants with heavy industrial and construction experience. Metal fabrication experience a plus

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Operation of Overhead Crane and Hi-Definition Plasma Machine
• Responsible for all set up and preventative maintenance
• Knowledge of computer programming
• Process planning and CNC programming for machinery
• Responsible for meeting daily production and on time requirements
• Ability to read blueprints and conduct quality inspections
• Ability to meet specific tasks at hand

Education and Skills Required:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Effective communication skills
• Packaging material to customer specifications
• Self motivated, results oriented
• Must be willing to work shift work (mornings, afternoons, graveyards)
• Previous experience operating forklifts and/or overhead cranes is an asset
• Previous experience working with manual beveling tools and portable flame cutting systems is an asset
