We are seeking a motivated, personable, and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team selling premium, high-end window coverings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, building relationships, and helping clients find beautiful, customized solutions for their homes.

Position Overview

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will meet with customers in their homes, understand their needs, provide product recommendations, take measurements, present options, and close sales. You will represent a high-end brand and provide an exceptional customer experience from the initial consultation through the sale.

This is a remote position with local travel to customer appointments.

Compensation

• Training: $20/hour while completing training
• After training: Transition to a draw-against-commission compensation structure
• Opportunity for strong earnings based on sales performance
• Additional details regarding commission and draw structure will be discussed during the interview process

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers at their homes for scheduled sales consultations
• Build strong relationships with homeowners and provide a high-end customer experience
• Assess customers' needs, preferences, and budget
• Educate customers on window covering products, styles, materials, and options
• Take accurate window measurements
• Prepare and present product recommendations and pricing
• Close sales and meet established sales goals
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information
• Follow up with customers throughout the sales process
• Represent the company professionally and maintain a polished appearance
• Develop referrals and repeat business through excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience preferred; experience in in-home sales, interior design, flooring, remodeling, home improvement, window coverings, or related industries is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confident, professional, and comfortable meeting customers in their homes
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Comfortable discussing pricing and asking for the sale
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be willing to travel locally for customer appointments
• Ability to learn product information, measuring procedures, and sales techniques
• A passion for design, home improvement, and creating beautiful spaces is a plus
