Express Employment is recruiting for a Receiving Clerk. The Receiving Clerk plays a vital role in our operations, responsible for efficiently managing incoming freight and materials essential for our factory operations. Reporting to the Stock Room Supervisor, this position is non-exempt.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accept and sign for deliveries, ensuring accuracy in counts and verifying incoming material against invoices.
- Enter incoming Purchase Orders into the database and scan invoices and purchase orders accordingly.
- Notify Purchasing Department and Accounting of any discrepancies or problematic materials based on work instructions.
- Process incoming RMA’s (returned material authorizations) as needed.
- Provide assistance in Shipping and Kit Pull as required.
- Count and return to stock any materials returned from the production floor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Formal Interactions with Others: The employee will interact with all department employees and interface with various functional departments within the company.
Work Environment: The work environment is a stockroom setting with suitable lighting and moderate to high noise levels. The standard work schedule consists of four ten-hour days, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with frequent overtime available based on departmental needs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience with data entry and the ability to follow written instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Mathematical proficiency, including basic arithmetic skills.
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs and stand for up to 3 consecutive hours.
- Working understanding of computers and software applications.
