Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivery Driving: Safely operate a delivery truck (no CDL required) to transport appliances to various residential locations.
  • Loading and Unloading: Lift and move heavy appliances, with weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs. Use a dolly for heavier items.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to squat, bend, lift overhead, and go up and down stairs during deliveries.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience for the customer.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols when handling appliances and navigating residential properties.
  • Pet Allergy Awareness: Must not be allergic to pets, as deliveries will involve entering homes where pets may be present.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Physical Ability: Must be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy appliances independently at times with dolly
  • Forklift Operation: Ability to drive a forklift is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with occasional Saturday work and overtime during peak season (May-October).
  • Uniform: A uniform and jacket will be provided.
