A local engineering manufactoring company is looking for someone who can read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components. Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance. Install and test switchgears, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators. Repair, test and install electrical motors, and generators. Troubleshoot/install electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices. May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
Required experience: Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical codes. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on electrical experience. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards. Proficiency with electrical testing equipment. Ability to use a multimeter and megger. Previous electrical training courses. High voltage, 3 phase, 12v/24DC and soldering experience. PLC experience.
Full Time Evaluation Hire Position
M-F 5:00 am-1:30 pm
$23.00 / hour DOE
