Job Summary: Express in Bellingham is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician to join a growing freeze-drying company. Pay:

• $20.00 per hour to start, with a pay increase after the probationary period

 

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday through Friday 3:00 pm-11:30 pm

• Ferndale, WA

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with the Quality Team to develop and determine product quality standards
• Record and maintain inspection reports and documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications
• Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
• Perform inspections across all stages of production
• Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
• Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
• Prepare and package samples for testing, retention, and sales
• Assist with functions of the R&D and QC lab as needed
• Participate actively in internal auditing programs and CAPA reports
• Record COA test results and methods for accurate reporting to customers
• Maintain supplier verification program to ensure we are following FSVP requirements
• Review, log, and file records, including production records
