Job Summary
Our client in Mentor, Ohio is seeking a dependable Maintenance Support team member to assist with the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facility operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a hands-on approach, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance personnel with repairs and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Perform basic mechanical repairs and adjustments.
• Help troubleshoot equipment issues and identify potential problems.
• Assist with machine lubrication, cleaning, and routine maintenance.
• Support maintenance of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
• Help maintain and organize the maintenance area, tools, and spare parts.
• Assist with facility maintenance and general repairs as needed.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and safety procedures.
• Respond to equipment and facility maintenance needs in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, mechanical, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve basic equipment problems.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment or materials as required.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
