Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Fabrication Manager to lead our fabrication and production team in Shreveport. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and welding, experience operating CNC equipment, and proven leadership skills.

This position is responsible for overseeing daily fabrication operations, managing personnel, coordinating production schedules, maintaining inventory, and ensuring all work meets quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day fabrication and welding operations.

• Supervise, train, and support fabrication team members.

• Operate, set up, and calibrate CNC equipment as needed.

• Develop and manage production schedules to keep projects on track.

• Coordinate workflow, materials, and manpower to meet production deadlines.

• Manage inventory, materials, and shop supplies.

• Monitor production quality and ensure work meets company standards.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues and provide hands-on solutions.

• Communicate effectively with employees, management, and other departments.

• Adjust priorities and production plans as needed to meet changing demands.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong fabrication and welding experience.

• CNC equipment operation, setup, and calibration experience.

• Previous personnel management and team leadership experience.

• Production scheduling and workflow management experience.

• Inventory and material management experience.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability.

• Ability to manage changing priorities while keeping production on schedule.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.

• Automotive, off-road, powersports, or motorsports experience preferred.
