Express Employment Professionals - Irvine is seeking a Staffing Consultant to join our internal team. This role combines new business development, recruiting, and relationship management to help local businesses find great employees while connecting talented individuals with meaningful employment opportunities.

What You'll Do

 

Business Development

• Build relationships with local employers and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, online networking, referrals, and in-person meetings.
• Identify workforce challenges and provide staffing and recruiting solutions
• Grow and maintain long-term client relationships

 

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

• Source, recruit, interview, and place candidates in contract and direct hire positions
• Utilize job boards, social media, referrals, and direct outreach to identify qualified talent
• Match qualified candidates with employer requirements and available opportunities.
• Guide candidates through the hiring process

 

Relationship Management

• Support and manage contract employees throughout their assignments
• Provide exceptional service to both clients and associates
• Collaborate with team members to achieve office goals
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, candidates, and employees

 

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, recruiting, account management, customer service, or a related field
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable making outbound calls to prospective clients and candidates
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and professional
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
