Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication & Production Supervisor to lead daily shop operations and help drive production, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on background in welding and metal fabrication, along with experience operating CNC equipment, managing personnel, scheduling production, and maintaining workflow.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who can work alongside a production team while keeping jobs organized, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily fabrication and production operations.
Manage, train, and motivate production personnel.
Assign work and monitor employee performance to keep production on schedule.
Perform and oversee welding, fabrication, fitting, and assembly operations.
Operate, set up, and calibrate CNC equipment as needed.
Develop and maintain production schedules and workflow.
Monitor job progress and adjust priorities as production needs change.
Manage inventory, raw materials, tooling, and shop supplies.
Ensure materials are available when needed to prevent production delays.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and specifications are met.
Troubleshoot mechanical, equipment, and production issues.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and shop organization.
Communicate effectively with management, employees, vendors, and customers.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production environment.
Help ensure production goals and deadlines are consistently achieved.

Qualifications

Strong welding and metal fabrication experience.
Experience with CNC equipment operation, setup, and calibration.
Previous personnel management or team leadership experience.
Experience with production scheduling and workflow management.
Experience managing inventory, materials, and shop supplies.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail.
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability.
Ability to manage changing priorities while keeping production on schedule.
Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
Automotive, off-road, powersports, or motorsports experience preferred.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader, not someone who wants to manage exclusively from an office. You should be comfortable jumping in to weld, fabricate, troubleshoot equipment, help employees solve problems, and make sure the shop gets the job completed correctly and on time.

Experience with custom fabrication, UTV/ATV builds, automotive fabrication, race vehicles, performance parts, or motorsports manufacturing is a strong plus.

Compensation & Opportunity

$25.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
