Salary: $25 - $28

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, rooftop units, and warehouse HVAC systems.

• Ensure all temperature-controlled areas remain compliant with food safety and storage regulations.

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and service calls promptly to minimize downtime.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance tasks, repairs, and parts used.

• Monitor system performance and proactively identify areas for improvement or needed upgrades.

• Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption.

• Adhere to all OSHA, EPA, and company safety procedures and protocols.

• Assist with the installation and setup of new HVAC/R systems or equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in HVAC/R strongly preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with commercial or industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• EPA 608 Certification (Universal or Type I & II) required.

• Experience working in food-grade or temperature-controlled environments preferred.

• Strong understanding of HVAC diagnostics, system controls, and mechanical repairs.

• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in hot or cold environments.
