Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Volvo equipment and diesel-powered vehicles. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on diesel equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on Volvo trucks and heavy equipment.
Troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, steering, and suspension issues.
Use diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve equipment problems.
Complete repair orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and industry standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Respond to emergency repair needs as required.

Qualifications:

Required:
Minimum of 3 years of diesel mechanic experience.
Experience working on Volvo trucks and/or Volvo construction equipment.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical documents.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.

Preferred:
Volvo certifications or manufacturer training.
CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment.
Welding and fabrication experience.
