Job Title: Counter Sales Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers at our sales counter, assisting with product inquiries, order processing, and providing expert advice on electrical supplies and solutions.

Pay & Schedule:

• Hourly Rate: $20–$25/hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner.
• Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers.
• Process sales orders, returns, and exchanges accurately using our POS system.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory, new products, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service.
• Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean sales area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or electrical training is a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in counter sales, preferably in electrical or industrial supply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or POS systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of electrical products and applications.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems like Eclipse or similar.
