Salary: $200/day + bonuses
Our recruiting team is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Senior Delivery Driver for a full-time, direct-hire position with a leading national transportation and expedited final-mile freight carrier.
In this role, you will safely operate Sprinter vans and 26ft box trucks, delivering critical temperature-sensitive, medical supply, and airport expedited freight across the region. You will be hired directly onto our client’s payroll from Day 1, enjoying full access to company benefits, stability, and competitive performance incentives.
Route Operations: Safely drive Sprinter vans and 26ft box trucks to perform middle- and final-mile deliveries.
Freight Handling: Load, unload, and secure freight (including un-palletized bulky items and small parcels) using manual/electric pallet jacks, hand trucks, and ratchet/e-straps.
Technology & Compliance: Perform digital order processing, track Hours of Service (HOS) via tablet/smartphone ELD applications, and complete digital training modules.
Safety & Inspection: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) and strictly adhere to DOT regulations.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience (Box Truck, Sprinter Van, or similar commercial vehicles).
Licensing: Valid driver's license (Class D minimum; CDL Class B with Airbrake Endorsement preferred).
Credentials: Valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required for regional access.
Medical Certification: Valid DOT Medical Card and Long Form (expiration date at least 30 days out).
MVR / Safety Record: Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations or at-fault accidents within the past 3 years.
Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, maneuver heavy cargo, and stand, crouch, or kneel during loading/unloading.
Certifications: Forklift experience/certification and Smith System driving certification preferred.
$200/day base pay + monthly performance and safety bonuses
