Maintenance Supervisor
$32-$35/hr | Temp-to-Perm | Alcoa, TN

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for a large industrial employer in Alcoa. This position leads electrical and mechanical maintenance teams, provides technical troubleshooting support, and helps ensure safe, efficient plant operations.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts on a 2/3/3/2 schedule
• Assigned to either days or nights based on business needs
• Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical, mechanical, and production employees
• Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for equipment issues
• Coordinate planned and unplanned maintenance activities
• Work with operations teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
• Respond to critical maintenance situations as needed
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support safe work practices
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Oracle systems to manage maintenance activities

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience with direct reports
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work either day or night shift as assigned
• Legally authorized to work in the United States (visa sponsorship not available)

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• Previous maintenance supervisory experience
• 5+ years of heavy industrial maintenance experience
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and hydraulic systems
• Union environment experience
• Experience supervising production employees
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
