Job Opening: Inside Sales Representative - Industrial Pumps

About the Position

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join our industrial pump sales team. This role is responsible for assisting customers, preparing quotes, processing orders, and providing product support for industrial pumps and related equipment. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and a desire to build lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes for pumps, motors, controls, and related products.
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers in selecting products based on operational and application requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, engineers, municipalities, and industrial customers.
• Coordinate with vendors and warehouse personnel regarding inventory and delivery schedules.
• Generate new sales opportunities through customer outreach and follow-up.
• Maintain customer records and sales activities within company systems.
• Stay current on product knowledge, industry trends, and technical specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous sales, customer service, or industrial distribution experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical products.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
• Ability to read and understand technical product information.
• Experience with pumps, motors, valves, or industrial equipment is a plus.
