General Labor - 1st shift

Express Employment is assisting a well-known local construction company with their hunt for qualified and reliable General Labors to join their team! These are full-time and long-term openings available to start immediately!

 

Wage & Hours:
1^st Shift: Mon-Fri, 6:30am-5pm, $18-$20/hour

 

General Laborer responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with digging for utilities using shovels and other hand and power tools
• Assist with loading and unloading materials on and off trucks as needed
• Ensure project and installation lines are the correct parameters before breaking ground
• Keep work sites clean and free of workplace hazards
• Wear PPE at all times and follow all safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

 

 

General Laborer requirements include:

• HSD or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to sit, stand, twist, bend, squat, reach, push, pull, and lift up to 70lbs throughout shift
• Ability to work both as a team and independently
• Must possess strong communication skills and basic math skills
• Previous construction, carpentry, or concrete experience is highly preferred
