Maintenance Technician

Salary: $21.00 / hr

We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to assist with general property maintenance and resident work orders in Gosport, IN. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who is comfortable handling a variety of repairs, inspections, and upkeep tasks while providing quality service to residents.

Job Summary

• Complete general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the property
• Turn units and prepare them for new residents
• Hang blinds and complete caulking as needed
• Check plumbing and identify potential issues
• Inspect appliances to ensure they are functioning properly
• Complete repairs and address resident work orders
• Move appliances in and out of units when needed
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner

Experience Required

• Previous experience in property maintenance, general maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred
• Hands-on experience with basic repairs and maintenance tasks
• Experience troubleshooting plumbing, appliances, and general property issues is a plus

• Strong attention to detail
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple work orders
• Dependable and responsive
• Comfortable performing physical tasks, including moving appliances
• Professional and courteous when interacting with residents
• Ability to use basic hand tools and maintenance equipment

Location: Gosport, IN
Pay: $21.00/hour
Position Type: Evaluation
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM or 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; flexible hours Tuesday and Thursday; approximately 32 hours per week
