NOW HIRING: ROUTER OPERATOR

Pay: $16+/HR

Location: Lexington, SC

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Position Overview:

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a dependable Router Operator for a manufacturing facility in Lexington, SC. This position is responsible for operating a programmable router to cut cover boards and Lexan materials used in the production of sun visors.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with machinery, reading work orders, retrieving production files, and maintaining quality and production standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

-Operate a programmable router to cut materials according to production specifications
-Retrieve and select pre-programmed files for the correct board pattern
-Review work orders and determine the materials required for production
-Lift and position materials on the cutting table
-Accurately record and report production on work orders
-Change router bits and perform basic machine adjustments
-Bevel and route blade edges as required
-Maintain a clean and organized work area
-Report equipment, maintenance, or safety concerns to the supervisor
-Follow all company safety and environmental standards
-Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or GED preferred
-Previous experience operating programmable machinery is preferred
-Basic computer skills required
-Manufacturing experience is preferred
-Ability to read and follow work orders
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently
