Job Title: Forklift Operator
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (overtime available when needed and voluntary)
Employment Type: Evaluation-to-Hire
Summary:
Seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in a fast-paced, clean, and organized environment. This position involves operating a sit-down forklift, material handling, order fulfillment, and assisting in various warehouse areas as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
- Pick orders and prepare materials for shipment.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Perform cycle counting and inventory-related tasks.
- Assist with warehouse operations involving both light and heavy lifting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting and walking, including lifting up to approximately 65 lbs.
