Do you enjoy helping customers, solving problems, and staying busy throughout the day? A well-established building supply company in Eureka is seeking a Front Counter Sales Associate to provide outstanding customer service and support contractors, homeowners, and walk-in customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and is interested in the construction, home improvement, or building materials industry. The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a full-time role.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers and provide professional, friendly service
• Assist customers in identifying and purchasing building materials and supplies
• Prepare quotes, process sales transactions, and handle payments
• Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries
• Maintain accurate product and pricing information
• Coordinate with warehouse staff regarding product availability and order fulfillment
• Build positive relationships with contractors, vendors, and retail customers

What We're Looking For

• Previous customer service, retail sales, or counter sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn sales software
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
• Knowledge of construction materials, hardware, lumber, or building products is a plus, but training is available for the right candidate
