Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Shop Laborer to join our growing team in Mesa. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing, machining, or fabrication.

The primary focus of this role is maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment while assisting the production team with basic shop tasks. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to learn. For individuals who demonstrate reliability, initiative, and attention to detail, there will be opportunities to receive training and advance into machining and fabrication responsibilities.

Position Responsibilities

This is a hands-on support role assisting daily shop operations:

• 40% – Clean and organize the shop, workstations, tools, and fabrication areas
• 20% – Clean, sort, label, and prepare parts for production and shipment
• 15% – Assist with material handling, stocking inventory, and moving materials throughout the facility
• 10% – Operate basic shop equipment such as grinders, saws, and deburring tools under supervision
• 10% – Assist machinists and fabricators with simple production-related tasks
• 5% – Support general shop maintenance and ensure a safe, organized work environment

Preferred (Not Required)

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, shop, construction, landscaping, automotive, or labor experience
• Experience using hand tools, grinders, or saws
• Interest in machining, fabrication, welding, or manufacturing careers
